SAP IS-U Consultant Energie-Billing / Invoicing

Project Description:

• The contractor delivers SAP S/4HANA Utilities (IS U) configuration and functional implementation services during the Realize phase of the S/4HANA Utilities transformation program. The goal is to implement and validate energy billing related processes, tariff models, and billing logic in the target S/4HANA system.

Tasks:

• S/4HANA IS U Billing Configuration — Deliver system configuration and customizing for billing related processes in SAP S/4HANA Utilities / SAP IS U

Deliverable: Configured billing components documented in configuration workbooks.

• Tariff & Rate Model Implementation — Design and implement tariff models, rate determination logic, and billing schema structures.

Deliverable: Activated tariff models and schema configurations validated through test cases.

• Requirements Translation — Convert business requirements and functional specifications into executable system settings.

Deliverable: Mapped requirements-to-configuration documentation and implemented settings.

• Billing Master Data Configuration — Configure billing master data, rate categories, operands, schema structures, and billing control parameters.

Deliverable: Completed and tested master data configuration entries.

• Issue & Defect Resolution — Analyze and resolve configuration defects during build and testing cycles.

Deliverable: Defect resolution logs with verified fixes.

• Functional Testing Execution — Plan and execute unit tests, retests, and functional validation for billing processes.

Deliverable: Completed test scripts, documented results, and updated defect records.

• Cross Workstream Alignment — Ensure alignment of billing configuration with dependent processes and integration interfaces. Deliverable: Cross workstream alignment notes and interface consistency checks.
• Data Validation — Validate data objects and system behavior related to billing and tariff configuration.

Deliverable: Data validation reports and issue logs.

• Cutover Preparation — Provide configuration related inputs for cutover planning and execution.

Deliverable: Configuration readiness inputs and cutover checklists.

• Realize Phase Delivery — Deliver hands on configuration and functional outputs required for timely Realize phase completion.

Deliverable: Completed Realize phase configuration package.
